The industry standard for fast and low stress permanent marks, the "dot peen" method was pioneered by Pryor in the 1970s. Any text, lines or image can be permanently marked with a series of dots. Dot marking is ideal for marking unique data matrix codes for machine readable identification. Even when using one of our hand tools for marking, a dot formation can be chosen to ensure low stress on the material being marked. Dot Peen marking is the best solution when indented marking and deep marking is required and the data changes frequently
